Business Development Executives (BDEs)
This position is open on a full-time, part-time, and even occasional basis.
Earnings potential is unlimited. Successful candidates for this position have
at least 10 years of business experience in either:

Consulting or Data/Software Sales
(“provider side”) OR
|
 |
|
Business/Client Management Level Experience – either in
a specific industry – or in a specific role (e.g., Development, Real Estate,
Marketing, Sales) (“client side”)

In either case, you have a rolodex you can put to work for you. This position
is the “hunter” in our sales cycle – an individual who can generate leads for
our various services and solutions. We have found that you really need to reach
into the very senior levels to be successful – so this deal isn’t for you if
you can’t do that.
Our BDEs have a clear understanding of our services, can discuss industry and
business issues that are meaningful and relevant to our target audience, and
can qualify their ability/willingness to invest. We don’t expect you to close
the deal, just qualify the lead and then let our Partners hammer out the
“details”. When it’s done, the BDE shares a portion of the revenue.
The kicker – as the “source” of this client – you will continue to earn revenue
from this client for any additional sales – regardless of your involvement in
those activities. Most of our BDEs are well into the next deal while our
internal sales team continues to develop client relationships. So one new
client can translate into years of revenue for you.
This position has the most flexibility of all our positions, as it does not
require a full-time commitment. In fact, our most successful BDEs are involved
with other ventures, and work with us on a part-time or occasional basis.
